Dr. Mannoia serves as Pastoral Coach at the Rock Church San Diego. Formerly, he was University Chaplain of Azusa Pacific University overseeing the spiritual care of the faculty, staff, and graduate students. He served as Dean of Theology at APU and before that, President of the National Association of Evangelicals. From his experience as a pastor, superintendent, bishop of the Free Methodist Church and President of the NAE, Mannoia brings his understanding of the church at a congregational, organizational, denominational, and national level to his ministry. He is Founder and Chair of the Wesleyan Holiness Connection, bringing together historic denominations, leaders, and institutions in clarifying the Wesleyan Holiness stream of the Church.
Mannoia also is the President of the International Council for Higher Education, an international accrediting agency and network of Christian colleges and universities in restricted parts of the world.
While Mannoia’s career has taken him around the nation and the world, he calls southern California home. He and Kathleen, his wife, live near Los Angeles. They have three adult children.
Kevin’s passion for expanding the Kingdom of God finds particular manifestation in raising and shaping the next generation of leaders on a global basis, which he sees as a vital part of the Church. He has been a faculty member at seminaries and universities around the world as well as a board member of Seattle Pacific University. Presently he is a member of the Board of Trustees for Roberts Wesleyan College and Northeastern Seminary in Rochester, N.Y., on the Editorial Board of the Christian Higher Education Journal, and Chairs the Board of ACCU, a Christian Financial Institution.
Having grown up in Brazil and invested much of his ministry overseas, Dr. Mannoia lives as a world Christian, however, he is still notably active in his local community. He is active as a board member for multiple organizations and has broad experience and world involvement in shaping leaders and future influencers.
Dr. Mannoia has served in ministry leadership for over 30 years since receiving his B.A. from Roberts Wesleyan College, and his Masters of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He began his pastoral work in Dallas, Texas and continued his education, obtaining the Ph.D. from the University of North Texas.
